In this set of works, I use idioms about “人” which means “human” as inspiration. The three works describe the three idioms : Ren Shan Ren Hai, Ren Man Wei Huan and Ren Hai Zhan Shu. I made this set because I wanted to express my mood as a foreigner in the UK. When I made this work, it happened to be the end of 2019. I have n’t been home for three years to cross the New Year, I feel homesick. At the same time, I feel that I am lonely in a foreign country, so I thought about myself. I think “人“this Chinese character is a very lonely word. Although, two “人“characters can mean” 从” and three characters can mean “众“ ，they all describe many people，but “人“always alone. Then I chose three idioms that describe a lot of people to make a typeface design of idiom interpretation.
